Motor Vehicle Collisions / Work related accidents

We provide assistance and advice to clients who have sustained injuries in motor vehicle accidents.

We will assist you in instituting a claim against the Road Accident Fund for compensation for the injuries sustained.

In terms of current legislation, a percentage of all petrol and diesel purchased is utilised to finance the Road Accident Fund (RAF) to enable it to compensate Road Accident victims through their claims for injuries.

Claims are only viable where the accident has not been caused solely due to the victim's own fault or negligence.

The Road Accident Fund Amendment Act 19 of 2005 introduced fundamental changes to the Road Accident Fund Act 1996. The constitutionality of these changes will be challenged in the Constitutional Court on 12 August 2010.
